Mr. and Mrs. Steve Hite!

Steve and I finally tied the knot yesterday!  We had a beautiful ceremony on the beach.  There was rain for much of the afternoon and we even decided to move the ceremony indoors, but God was smiling down on us and gave us a break in the rain right on time!! We were married on the beach, took some wonderful pictures and then made it back inside before the rain started again!

Countdown is on!!

We are headed to the beach today.  The wedding is on Tuesday.  Hope we don't forget anything!  Larry and Steve planted vegetables much later this year in hopes that we wouldn't have an abundance of ripe veggies while we were gone.  It seems to be working although because we planted later, we don't have a good crop of green beans.  They are going to try to plant again when we get home from the beach.  I'm sure all this dry weather isn't helping either!!

All-Stars! Go Kaylee!

Kaylee made softball allstars for the Angels division.  She will be in Blackstone all weekend playing.  We are so proud of her.

Schools Out!

Wow! School's out! The goats are getting so big!  Emily still has them up near the house although their pen is finished.  She won't stop bottle feeding them until right before we leave for the beach, so we don't want them down in their big pen yet.  Genevieve the donkey is really starting to look pregnant.  For a while, we couldn't really figure out if she was or wasn't pregnant.  Things are pretty hectic here.  Kaylee is finishing up softball.  Noel and Sam are still playing soccer.  Steve and I are running around like nuts trying to finish up wedding stuff.

Huge Jump in Time!

Sorry for the lack of posts! Steve and I have been SO busy with the end of the school year, wedding, and just the drama of 6 kids, we haven't been on here to post!

School ends in 2 weeks! The kids are excited.  There was a little traveling zoo that came to school to see the kindergarten students.  Steve and I decided we should definitely look into doing something like that the way our little farm keeps growing.  My kindergarteners loved it!

Where has the year gone?  I can't believe we are so close to summer and the wedding is only weeks away!  We have so much to do!
